Assignment: Write about the life of George Muller

George Muller was an incredible man. He went from stealing his fathers money to a father of over a thousand children. God trusted him with one and a half million pound n massive amount of money. He did not use any for him self. By the time he died he only had one hundred and sixty pounds to his name.

This is an extract of the book George Muller Christian Heroes:
Before going to the dinning room at Number One Orphan House, George walked into the garden.
"Abigail, Abigail, come here,"he called
"But where's all the food?" Abigail asked in a whisper.
"God will supply." George told her quietly.
No sooner had the noise in the dinning room subsided then there was a knock at the door. In the doorway stood the baker, holding a tray of delicious smelling bread.
Several weeks later, Caroline Townsend told George that Abigail had taken to finishing all her prayer requests with, "Like you do for George Muller. Amen."

Isn't that amazing!

This is anther amazing faith story from the same book:

"It was to childish for a grown man and much to simple for a university student. It would be foolish to kneel down and ask God to send him the money he needed. Finally, George decided to try it anyway. "Dear God," he began, "You know the situation I'm in, and know what I need. I ask You to provide for me. Amen."
An hour later as George was rewriting some lecture notes, he was interrupted by a firm knock at the door. The door swung open and the two men entered the room. Dr. Tholuck smiled. "I have been told you speak English well and you would make an excellent tutor for our guests."
Fifteen minutes later, it was all settled. Even though they would come to lessons together, Dr. Hodge insisted they would each be happy to pay him separately, and double the normal rate. George's eyes widened as he added it up.
